TRUST GOES BOTH WAYS
TRUST
GOES BOTH WAYS
God trusts us to trust Him. It is as simple as that! Isaiah 26:3 says:
“You will keep in perfect
peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”
God created us in His image. His image is not physical, it is
ethereal! God is love. God is faith.
He is peace, assurance, joy, dependability, endurance, forgiving, grace,
hope, intimate, present, rest, victorious, sufficient, thankful, and
trusting. He expects us to be the same.
Once we recognize He exists and that He
gave His only begotten Son to die for us, we belong to Him. The people who do not recognize this fact are
the ones who will suffer in life. We
live in a broken world full of sin. It
is not always our fault that we sin. It
is human nature. God does not sin and He
expects us to do the same. That takes a
conscious effort on our part. He gave up
His Son to pay for our sins. We should
be thankful He gave us a way to get to heaven!
It takes trust, though. We cannot
see it. We can only feel it in our
hearts.
“Because
he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for
he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will
be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I
will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16 NIV
This doesn’t mean we will not suffer at
all. We live in a sinful world. Only heaven will be free of sin, pain,
anguish, and hate. Our lives will be
better only if we put our trust in our Lord to help us through whatever our
trial may be. Surprise everyone and
thank the Lord for this trial…He is teaching you something!
Our knowledge of Him assures His presence
at all times. Actually, He is always
with everyone on this earth, but only the ones who recognize Him will receive
His blessings. Sometimes, He blesses
those who do not recognize Him, so they may have the opportunity to let Him
into their hearts. If they refuse, there
is nothing He can do but keep trying, which He does despite their
unbelief.
God never gives up. We can trust that quality in Him. Look what Jesus went through for every soul
on earth. Only a few are openminded
enough to realize it. Trust the Lord
Jesus when He spoke to His disciples before He was crucified in John 14:5-7:
“Thomas said to him,
“Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus
answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me. If you really know Me, you will know my Father
as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.”
TRUST that believing in Jesus
is the only way to heaven, because He is God, the Father.
Have a great day! Miss
Marsha
